It was a moment of great jubilation across the communities of Iwaro, Amututu, Akindana and Ijelu in Aramoko Ekiti as the Oluomo of Oodua and Mayegun of Aramoko Ekiti, Mayegun Ademola Adetifa, fulfilled his promise with the presentation of a new 33KVA transformer to the people who had endured prolonged darkness for over 11 months.
The transformer donation, delivered through his representative, Mr. Gbenga Adetifa, reflects his unwavering commitment to community development and his belief in supporting government efforts. In his remarks, the Mayegun emphasized that the government alone cannot meet all societal needs, urging well-meaning and capable individuals to complement government initiatives for sustainable progress.

He commended the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, *Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji*, for his impactful leadership and dedication to Aramoko Ekiti. Describing the Governor as an elder brother—particularly as the Governor’s mother hails from Aramoko—he expressed profound appreciation for the numerous appointments granted to sons and daughters of the community. Mayegun Adetifa pledged to deploy every resource within his capacity to support the continuity of Governor Oyebanji’s administration.
He also extended heartfelt gratitude to the Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial Constituency, *Opeyemi Bamidele,* for his remarkable contributions to Aramoko Ekiti. These include the construction of market shops, installation of solar lights, execution of road projects within the town, and his collaborative efforts with the Governor to facilitate the Federal Government’s rehabilitation of the Aramoko–Itawure–Ado road. He offered prayers for both leaders and assured them of his steadfast support in all their political endeavors.

Though not a politician but a Canada-based businessman and oil and gas mogul, the Oluomo of the Source has consistently demonstrated uncommon love for his people. Among his numerous interventions are:

– Grading of township and farmlands roads within Aramoko and its environs
– Cash support for widows and vulnerable residents
– Distribution of notebooks to students of public and private schools within Aramoko Ekiti
– Installation of solar streetlights in some streets within the town
– Free coaching classes for WAEC and NECO candidates
– Purchase and distribution of 100 free JAMB forms for students
– Donation of 14 motorcycles to support youths and farmers in the community
– Continuous assistance to indigenes at home and in the diaspora
– Sponsorship of talented young footballers to get professional football clubs within Nigeria and abroad

He concluded by appreciating all sons and daughters of Aramoko Ekiti for their collective efforts toward community advancement.
Through purposeful giving and responsible leadership, Mayegun Ademola Adetifa continues to embody service, unity, and sustainable development—proving that genuine love for one’s community is best expressed through action.
