Chief Engr. Ademola Adetifa, the Oluomo Oodua of Yorubaland and Mayegun of Aramoko-Ekiti, is set to receive another significant traditional honour as he is conferred and installed as the Aare Bashorun of Araromi-Ekiti in Ijero Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The prestigious ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, in Araromi-Ekiti, Ekiti State, bringing together traditional rulers, community leaders, dignitaries, family members, friends and well-wishers to celebrate the occasion.

The conferment of the title represents another recognition of Chief Adetifa’s contributions to community development, youth empowerment, philanthropy and the promotion of social and cultural values.
Over the years, Chief Adetifa has become known for his commitment to giving back to society and supporting people across different walks of life. His interventions have included support for youth development and sporting activities, empowerment initiatives, assistance to widows and vulnerable members of society, as well as various acts of philanthropy.
His growing involvement in community affairs and commitment to uplifting others have continued to earn him recognition among traditional institutions and communities.
The title Aare Bashorun carries considerable significance within Yoruba traditional and cultural settings, and the installation is expected to further strengthen the bond between Chief Adetifa and the people of Araromi-Ekiti.
The forthcoming ceremony is therefore anticipated to be more than a celebration of a traditional title. It will also provide an opportunity for the community and distinguished guests to honour a man whose public activities have increasingly been associated with service, generosity and community development.
As Araromi-Ekiti prepares for the historic occasion, expectations are high for a colourful ceremony that will celebrate Yoruba heritage, tradition and the enduring values of leadership and service.
The people of Araromi-Ekiti and well-wishers across Ekiti State and beyond are expected to grace the occasion as Chief Engr. Ademola Adetifa takes on the new traditional responsibility as Aare Bashorun of Araromi-Ekiti.
