NRM aspirant highlights grassroots representation, youth empowerment and inclusive development at campaign flag-off in Nalende.
IBADAN, OYO STATE — Hon. Adekunle Hafeez Ishola, popularly known as Ojuabere, on Wednesday launched his campaign for the Ibadan North-West and Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, following a massive reception by supporters at the National Rescue Movement (NRM) State Secretariat in Oluyole Estate, Ibadan.

The campaign train later moved to Nalende, his hometown, where he officially flagged off his bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Declaring his determination to win, Ishola said: “I, Ishola Adekunle, omo Ojuabaere, am on the ballot under the National Rescue Movement (NRM) to contest for the Ibadan North-West/South-West Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 elections, and I will win.”

His message focused on grassroots representation, educational support, youth empowerment and opportunities for vulnerable members of society.
Ojuabere urged residents to assess political aspirants based on their records, relationships with the people and commitment to community development, rather than allowing political engagement to begin and end with election periods.

He cited support for children’s education, youth empowerment initiatives and assistance to elderly residents as examples of his community involvement. He also expressed a desire to inspire young people from less privileged backgrounds to see education, leadership and economic advancement as achievable goals.
The aspirant pledged that, if elected, he would pursue a legislative agenda addressing the constituency’s needs through effective lawmaking, legislative oversight and targeted development initiatives.

The campaign launch marks a significant step in Ojuabere’s bid to build support ahead of the 2027 elections. His challenge will be to translate his stated priorities into practical, measurable benefits for residents.
People First. Service Always. Development for All.
