Four promising players of Alara FC have taken an important step towards their professional football dreams after participating in a four-day scouting programme organised by Droom Soccer, an international football scouting and agency network focused on identifying and connecting emerging talents with professional clubs.
The scouting programme, held last week in Ogun State, provided the young footballers with an opportunity to showcase their abilities before football scouts and industry professionals. The four Alara FC players reportedly acquitted themselves well throughout the programme, with Adetoyin Blessing Adeyinka standing out as one of the notable performers after being named Man of the Match.

With the scouting process now underway, expectations are high that some of the players could attract further opportunities, including invitations to Europe and other international destinations for professional trials.
The opportunity represents a significant development for the young players, whose participation was made possible through the support and sponsorship of Chief Engr. Ademola Adetifa, the Mayegun of Aramoko-Ekiti, in collaboration with Mr. Peter Odelusi Jnr. The programme was also supported by their coach, Mr. Peter Adetiloye, whose guidance and commitment have contributed to the players’ development.

Chief Adetifa’s intervention in the lives of the young footballers dates back to the End-of-Year Aramoko Game Festival, where he discovered their potential and subsequently decided to support their football aspirations.
His commitment to the players reflects a broader passion for youth development, sports and community empowerment. Over the years, Chief Adetifa has supported sporting activities and initiatives aimed at empowering young people and adults, while also extending assistance to vulnerable members of society, including widows.
For him, investing in young talents is not merely about football. It is about creating opportunities, building confidence and giving young people the platform they need to discover their potential and compete on a wider stage.
The latest scouting opportunity could therefore mark the beginning of a new chapter for the four Alara FC players. While the outcome of the scouting process remains to be seen, their performance in Ogun State has given them another reason to believe that their dreams of playing football at the highest level are achievable.

As they await the next stage of the process, the message from their supporters remains clear: talent deserves opportunity, and opportunity can change a life.
Chief Adetifa has once again demonstrated that when individuals and communities invest in their young people, the impact can extend far beyond the football pitch.
“People first, winning matters.”
