The Yoruba Youth Assembly (YYA) has congratulated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election, describing the victory as a reflection of the confidence and trust the people of Osun State have placed in his leadership.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Worldwide President of the organisation, Hon. Olarinde Thomas, and its spokesman, Jide Alofe, the YYA said Governor Adeleke’s victory represents a renewed mandate and a greater responsibility to the people.

The organisation noted that the governor’s re-election was made possible by the trust and confidence Osun residents have in his administration, urging him to reciprocate that confidence with more purposeful and people-oriented governance.
According to the YYA leadership, the renewed mandate should not be regarded merely as a political victory but as a call to greater service, accountability and commitment to the development of Osun State.
The group therefore called on Governor Adeleke not to betray the trust of the people, urging him to work tirelessly throughout his second term to justify the mandate given to him by the electorate.
“Governor Adeleke must see this re-election as a greater responsibility to the people. The trust they have placed in him must not be betrayed. He must work tirelessly to justify this renewed mandate and make the people of Osun State happy,” the organisation stated.
The YYA particularly urged the governor to give greater attention to issues affecting the people, especially youth empowerment, employment, education, infrastructure, economic opportunities and improved living conditions.
It also called on him to remain accessible and inclusive, stressing that governance should be for all residents of Osun State, irrespective of political affiliation.
The organisation said the true measure of Governor Adeleke’s second term would ultimately be the impact his administration makes in the lives of ordinary people and the level of development recorded across the state.
While congratulating the governor once again, the Yoruba Youth Assembly called on all stakeholders and residents of Osun State to support initiatives that will promote peace, unity and sustainable development.
The YYA leadership expressed confidence that Governor Adeleke would use his renewed mandate to deliver greater dividends of democracy and leave a lasting legacy in the state.
The organisation wished Governor Adeleke a successful second term and urged him to make the trust of the people the driving force behind his administration.
