The Oluomo of Yoruba Land and Mayegun of Aramoko Ekiti, Chief (Engr.) Ademola Adetifa, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and beyond as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival.
Chief Adetifa described the Ileya celebration as a sacred season that symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, compassion and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, stressing that the values of peace, tolerance and unity embedded in the festival remain essential for national growth and harmony.

According to him, Nigerians must use the spiritual significance of Eid-el-Kabir to strengthen love for one another, support the less privileged and promote peaceful coexistence irrespective of religion, tribe or political differences.
He further called on citizens to remain hopeful and prayerful for the progress of the country, while encouraging leaders at all levels to continue working towards economic stability, security and sustainable development for the benefit of all Nigerians.

Chief Adetifa also urged youths to embrace hard work, discipline and positive engagement as tools for building a better future and advancing the growth of society.
The respected Yoruba leader prayed that the blessings of Eid-el-Kabir bring joy, divine favour, peace and prosperity to every home and to the nation at large.

“May this holy celebration renew our faith, strengthen our unity and usher greater peace and progress into our land,” he stated.
Eid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful.
