
Aramoko Ekiti was once again filled with excitement and gratitude on Sunday, February 1, 2025, as the Oluomo of the Source and Mayegun of Aramoko Ekiti, Chief (Engr.) Ademola Adetifa, distributed another batch of motorcycles to youths and indigenes of the town.
The empowerment initiative, carried out through his representative, Mr. Gbenga Adetifa drew widespread jubilation from residents who gathered to witness the impactful gesture. The motorcycles aimed at enhancing transportation businesses and improving livelihoods were presented to beneficiaries amid cheers, prayers, and heartfelt appreciation from community members.


Speaking during the distribution, Mr. Gbenga Adetifa conveyed the philanthropist’s message to the people. He urged the beneficiaries to make productive and responsible use of the motorcycles, emphasizing that the empowerment program was designed to foster economic independence and sustainable growth within the community.
“The motorcycles are not just gifts,” he noted, “but opportunities for financial stability and self-reliance. They should be used judiciously and meaningfully for personal and community development.”

The atmosphere in Aramoko was described as electrifying, with youths expressing profound gratitude and pledging to maximize the opportunity provided. Many offered prayers for Chief (Engr.) Ademola Adetifa, praising his consistent dedication to the welfare of the town and describing him as a beacon of hope and progress.
Chief (Engr.) Adetifa further revealed plans to expand his empowerment initiatives. He announced that by April 2026, he intends to distribute another set of motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines (popularly known as Ero Ilota), and agricultural chemicals to support local farmers. This forthcoming initiative is expected to benefit artisans, traders, and farmers, thereby broadening the scope of economic empowerment in Aramoko.

Widely recognized as an oil and gas mogul based in Canada, Chief (Engr.) Ademola Adetifa has built a reputation not only for business excellence but also for extraordinary generosity. Over the years, he has consistently supported youths, widows, the elderly, and indigent members of the community through various empowerment programs. His previous interventions have included financial assistance, skill-acquisition tools, and welfare support aimed at alleviating poverty and promoting dignity among vulnerable groups.
Infact, he had in recent past installed several street solar lights, graded several community link roads, sponsored several youth to the foreign countries, bought transformers, organised JAMB coaching for students, obtained JAMB forms for 100 students, organised annual sport games’ competition, distribted notebooks for students, etc, to mention just a few, and he would continue to do more.
Community leaders and residents alike have continued to eulogize him as a visionary leader whose heart remains deeply connected to his roots despite residing abroad. Many described his philanthropic efforts as transformational, noting that his interventions have reduced unemployment, boosted small-scale businesses, and restored hope to countless families.
