The Mayegun of Aramoko Ekiti and Oluomo of the Source, Engr. Chief Ademola Adetifa, has extended his heartfelt greetings to Muslims and Christians across the world as they observe the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent.
In his goodwill message, Engr. Chief Adetifa described both Ramadan and Lent as profound periods of spiritual reflection, sacrifice, discipline, and renewed devotion to God. He noted that these sacred seasons remind humanity of the importance of humility, compassion, forgiveness, and service to others.
“Ramadan and Lent are not merely religious observances,” he stated, “they are divine invitations to purify our hearts, strengthen our faith, and extend love to our neighbors. They teach us self-restraint, generosity, and total dependence on Almighty God.”

He prayed that the holy month of Ramadan brings peace, mercy, and abundant blessings to the Muslim Ummah worldwide, and that their fasting, prayers, and acts of charity be accepted as acts of devotion.
For Christians observing Lent, he prayed for spiritual renewal, deeper consecration, and the grace to grow stronger in faith through prayer, fasting, and acts of kindness.
Engr. Chief Adetifa further called for unity among Nigerians and people across the globe, emphasizing that the values shared by both seasons—peace, sacrifice, compassion, and reconciliation—are essential for building stronger communities and a more harmonious society.
“As we fast and pray,” he added, “may our world experience healing, may our nation witness peace and progress, and may our homes be filled with joy and divine protection.”
He concluded by encouraging all faithful to use this sacred period to uplift the needy, promote harmony, and seek the face of God for a better future.
Ramadan Kareem and a meaningful Lenten season to all.
