On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the spirit of compassion and service came alive as the Funmi Adetifa Care Foundation (FACF), led by its convener, Funmi Adetifa, carried out a heartfelt outreach to widows and the elderly in the remote Aba Aladiye, Bako Community of Omi Adio, Apata, Ibadan, Nigeria.<\/p>\n

In alignment with the season of Ramadan and Christian fasting, the Foundation extended support to some of society\u2019s most vulnerable, demonstrating the power of love, unity, and humanity across faiths.<\/p>\n

Reaching the Vulnerable with Care and Support<\/strong><\/p>\n

The outreach featured the distribution of essential food items and care packages, providing much-needed relief to elderly individuals and widows within the community. The initiative not only addressed immediate needs but also brought joy and reassurance to many households.<\/p>\n

Beyond material support, FACF incorporated a health-focused component into the program. Free medical screenings, including blood pressure and blood sugar checks, were conducted for community members\u2014an effort aimed at promoting early detection and overall well-being among the beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
