Residents of Amututu, Iwaro, Ijelu, and Akindana Street in Aramoko Ekiti have received a major boost as Chief (Engr.) Ademola Adetifa, the Mayegun of Aramoko Kingdom and Oluomo Oodua, donated a 33KVA electricity transformer to restore power supply to the affected neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n

The communities had been without electricity for over one year following the breakdown of their transformer. Efforts to repair the faulty transformer through communal contributions failed, and all appeals made to the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), the Local Government and the Ekiti State Government yielded no positive result.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Leaders of the affected neighbourhoods \u2014 Ijelu, Iwaro, Amututu, Glory Area, Erio Road axis and adjoining streets \u2014 later approached Chief Adetifa for assistance during his visit to Aramoko Ekiti in January 2026.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Moved by their plight, the Mayegun of Aramoko Kingdom personally funded the purchase of a strong 33KVA transformer.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The transformer has now been procured and donated, bringing renewed hope and relief to residents.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
In an appreciation letter signed by Ogundaisi Bolarinwa K. Okiro, the communities described the donation as a \u201clife-changing intervention\u201d that will significantly improve economic activities, social wellbeing and the standard of living across the neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n

They also praised Chief Ademola Adetifa\u2019s commitment to community development and prayed for God\u2019s blessings upon him with long life, good health and greater opportunities to continue serving humanity.<\/p>\n
